Sa
Tula is an ancient and powerful metaphysical principle
from
West Africa
which posits the necessity of always aligning and
accepting the ‘Truth’ for success and ultimate
happiness in life. ‘Truth’ from the West African
perspective is the “character and wisdom” of
God. We will explore, and do our best to discover,
the ‘Truth’ of our existence, and our place within the
universe. We will discuss how this plays out in everyday
life in terms of identifying the correct behavior and
strategies for having successful relationships and
meaningful and successful lives.
We
will investigate the various cultural perspectives and
presentations on ‘Truth’ as seen through the eyes of
the following cultures:

The
show will consist of prepared presentations, guest
speakers, open dialogue and audience participation, with
the seeking of the unity in the diversity of the various
‘Truth’ perspectives.
We
will use our investigation and exploration of ‘Truth’
as a guide to our discussions on such myriad topics as the
following:

meaning and cycle of life and death;

Recipes
for happiness; optimal health—how do we achieve and
maintain it?

Finding
and connecting with our higher self or soul;
-
Our
relationship to a Supreme Being;
-
Establishing
and maintaining healthy and healing relationships with
ourselves, family, loved ones, friends and community.
We
will also regularly have youth on the show discussing
issues and concerns important and of interest to them.
